⁴ For the word of the Lord is right^(A) and true;^(B)
    he is faithful^(C) in all he does.

⁶ And the words of the Lord are flawless,^(A)
    like silver purified^(B) in a crucible,^(C)
    like gold^[a] refined seven times.

⁴ He is the Rock,^(A) his works are perfect,^(B)
    and all his ways are just.
A faithful God^(C) who does no wrong,
    upright^(D) and just is he.^(E)

⁸ The precepts of the Lord are right,^(A)
    giving joy^(B) to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant,
    giving light to the eyes.^(C)

⁵ “Every word of God is flawless;^(A)
    he is a shield^(B) to those who take refuge in him.
