¹⁰ Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the Lord, mercy shall compass him about.

²⁰ He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he.

² Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

³ Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

²¹ Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repayed.

⁸ But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

⁹ Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

¹¹ The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

⁵ Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God:

⁸ O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

¹² For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

¹⁰ For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
