Psalm 16:5-11
English Standard Version
5 The Lord is (A)my chosen portion and my (B)cup;
you hold my (C)lot.
6 (D)The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance.
7 I bless the Lord who (E)gives me counsel;
in (F)the night also my (G)heart instructs me.[a]
8 (H)I have (I)set the Lord always before me;
because he is at my (J)right hand, I shall not be (K)shaken.
9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my (L)whole being[b] rejoices;
my flesh also dwells secure.
10 For you will not abandon my soul to (M)Sheol,
(N)or let your (O)holy one see (P)corruption.[c]
11 You make known to me (Q)the path of life;
in your presence there is (R)fullness of joy;
at your right hand are (S)pleasures forevermore.

Acts 2:22-28
English Standard Version
22 “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, (A)a man attested to you by God (B)with (C)mighty works and wonders and signs that (D)God did through him in your midst, as you yourselves know— 23 this Jesus,[a] (E)delivered up according to (F)the definite plan and (G)foreknowledge of God, (H)you crucified and killed by the hands of lawless men. 24 (I)God raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because (J)it was not possible for him to be held by it. 25 For David says concerning him,
(K)“‘I saw the Lord always before me,
for he is at my right hand that I may not be shaken;
26 therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced;
my flesh also will dwell (L)in hope.
27 For you will not abandon my soul to (M)Hades,
(N)or let your (O)Holy One (P)see corruption.
28 You have made known to me the paths of life;
you will make me full of gladness with your presence.’
