Psalm 16:5-11
New International Version
5 Lord, you alone are my portion(A) and my cup;(B)
you make my lot(C) secure.
6 The boundary lines(D) have fallen for me in pleasant places;
surely I have a delightful inheritance.(E)
7 I will praise the Lord, who counsels me;(F)
even at night(G) my heart instructs me.
8 I keep my eyes always on the Lord.
With him at my right hand,(H) I will not be shaken.(I)
9 Therefore my heart is glad(J) and my tongue rejoices;
my body also will rest secure,(K)
10 because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,(L)
nor will you let your faithful[a] one(M) see decay.(N)
11 You make known to me the path of life;(O)
you will fill me with joy in your presence,(P)
with eternal pleasures(Q) at your right hand.(R)

Acts 13:32-43
New International Version
32 “We tell you the good news:(A) What God promised our ancestors(B) 33 he has fulfilled for us, their children, by raising up Jesus.(C) As it is written in the second Psalm:
34 God raised him from the dead so that he will never be subject to decay. As God has said,
35 So it is also stated elsewhere:
36 “Now when David had served God’s purpose in his own generation, he fell asleep;(G) he was buried with his ancestors(H) and his body decayed. 37 But the one whom God raised from the dead(I) did not see decay.
38 “Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you.(J) 39 Through him everyone who believes(K) is set free from every sin, a justification you were not able to obtain under the law of Moses.(L) 40 Take care that what the prophets have said does not happen to you:
41 “‘Look, you scoffers,
wonder and perish,
for I am going to do something in your days
that you would never believe,
even if someone told you.’[d]”(M)
42 As Paul and Barnabas were leaving the synagogue,(N) the people invited them to speak further about these things on the next Sabbath. 43 When the congregation was dismissed, many of the Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, who talked with them and urged them to continue in the grace of God.(O)

John 14:7-14
New International Version
7 If you really know me, you will know[a] my Father as well.(A) From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”
8 Philip(B) said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”
9 Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.(C) How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me?(D) The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority.(E) Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves.(F) 12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes(G) in me will do the works I have been doing,(H) and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask(I) in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
