⁴Mightier than the thunders of many waters,
mightier than the waves of the sea,
^(A)the Lord ^(B)on high is mighty!

⁴Mightier than the thunder^(A) of the great waters,
mightier than the breakers^(B) of the sea—
the Lord on high is mighty.^(C)

⁵For I know that ^(A)the Lord is great,
and that our Lord is above all gods.
