10 My shield is with God,(A)

11 God is a righteous judge

12 If anyone does not repent,
he will sharpen his sword;(D)
he has strung his bow and made it ready.(E)
13 He has prepared his deadly weapons;
he tips his arrows with fire.(F)

14 See, the wicked one is pregnant with evil,
conceives trouble, and gives birth to deceit.(G)
15 He dug a pit and hollowed it out
but fell into the hole he had made.(H)
16 His trouble comes back on his own head;
his own violence comes down on top of his head.(I)

17 I will thank the Lord for his righteousness;
I will sing about the name of the Lord Most High.(J)

14 Whoever is pregnant with evil
    conceives trouble and gives birth(I) to disillusionment.
15 Whoever digs a hole and scoops it out
    falls into the pit(J) they have made.(K)
16 The trouble they cause recoils on them;
    their violence comes down on their own heads.

17 I will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness;(L)
    I will sing the praises(M) of the name of the Lord Most High.(N)
