15 But God will redeem my life
from the power of Sheol,
for He will take me.(A)Selah

16 Do not be afraid when a man gets rich,
when the wealth[a] of his house increases.(B)
17 For when he dies, he will take nothing at all;
his wealth[b] will not follow him down.(C)

    he will surely take me to himself.(B)
16 Do not be overawed when others grow rich,
    when the splendor of their houses increases;
17 for they will take nothing(C) with them when they die,
    their splendor will not descend with them.(D)
