求耶和華垂聽其祈求
28 大衛的詩。
1 耶和華啊，我要求告你！我的磐石啊，不要向我緘默！倘若你向我閉口，我就如將死的人一樣。
2 我呼求你，向你至聖所舉手的時候，求你垂聽我懇求的聲音。
3 不要把我和惡人並作孽的一同除掉，他們與鄰舍說和平話，心裡卻是奸惡。
4 願你按著他們所做的，並他們所行的惡事待他們。願你照著他們手所做的待他們，將他們所應得的報應加給他們。
5 他們既然不留心耶和華所行的和他手所做的，他就必毀壞他們，不建立他們。
頌耶和華因允其求
6 耶和華是應當稱頌的！因為他聽了我懇求的聲音。
7 耶和華是我的力量，是我的盾牌，我心裡倚靠他，就得幫助。所以我心中歡樂，我必用詩歌頌讚他。
8 耶和華是他百姓的力量，又是他受膏者得救的保障。
9 求你拯救你的百姓，賜福給你的產業，牧養他們，扶持他們，直到永遠。

The Lord Is My Strength and My Shield
Of David.
28 To you, O Lord, I call;
(A)my rock, be not deaf to me,
lest, if you (B)be silent to me,
I become like those who (C)go down to the pit.
2 (D)Hear the voice of my pleas for mercy,
when I cry to you for help,
when I (E)lift up my hands
(F)toward your most holy sanctuary.[a]
3 Do not (G)drag me off with the wicked,
with the workers of evil,
(H)who speak peace with their neighbors
while evil is in their hearts.
4 (I)Give to them according to their work
and according to the evil of their deeds;
give to them according to the work of their hands;
(J)render them their due reward.
5 Because they (K)do not regard the works of the Lord
or the work of his hands,
he will tear them down and build them up no more.
6 Blessed be the Lord!
For he has (L)heard the voice of my pleas for mercy.
7 The Lord is my strength and (M)my shield;
in him my heart (N)trusts, and I am helped;
my heart exults,
and with my (O)song I give thanks to him.
8 The Lord is the strength of his people;[b]
he is (P)the saving refuge of his anointed.
9 Oh, save your people and bless (Q)your heritage!

10 「列國啊，要聽耶和華的話，傳揚在遠處的海島說：『趕散以色列的必招聚他，又看守他，好像牧人看守羊群。』 11 因耶和華救贖了雅各，救贖他脫離比他更強之人的手。 12 他們要來到錫安的高處歌唱，又流歸耶和華施恩之地，就是有五穀、新酒和油並羊羔、牛犢之地。他們的心必像澆灌的園子，他們也不再有一點愁煩。 13 那時處女必歡樂跳舞，年少的、年老的也必一同歡樂，因為我要使他們的悲哀變為歡喜，並要安慰他們，使他們的愁煩轉為快樂。 14 我必以肥油使祭司的心滿足，我的百姓也要因我的恩惠知足。」這是耶和華說的。

and declare it in the coastlands far away;
say, ‘He who scattered Israel will (A)gather him,

and has redeemed him from (D)hands too strong for him.
12 They shall come and sing aloud on the height of Zion,

and over the young of the flock and the herd;

30 「我憑著自己不能做什麼，我怎麼聽見就怎麼審判。我的審判也是公平的，因為我不求自己的意思，只求那差我來者的意思。 31 我若為自己作見證，我的見證就不真。 32 另有一位給我作見證，我也知道他給我作的見證是真的。 33 你們曾差人到約翰那裡，他為真理作過見證。 34 其實我所受的見證不是從人來的，然而我說這些話，為要叫你們得救。 35 約翰是點著的明燈，你們情願暫時喜歡他的光。 36 但我有比約翰更大的見證，因為父交給我要我成就的事，就是我所做的事，這便見證我是父所差來的。 37 差我來的父也為我作過見證。你們從來沒有聽見他的聲音，也沒有看見他的形象。 38 你們並沒有他的道存在心裡，因為他所差來的，你們不信。

The Authority of the Son
19 So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, (A)the Son (B)can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father[a] does, that the Son does likewise. 20 For (C)the Father loves the Son and shows him all that he himself is doing. And (D)greater works than these will he show him, so that (E)you may marvel. 21 For as the Father (F)raises the dead and (G)gives them life, so (H)also the Son gives life (I)to whom he will. 22 (J)For the Father judges no one, but (K)has given all judgment to the Son, 23 that all may honor the Son, just as they (L)honor the Father. (M)Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him. 24 Truly, truly, I say to you, (N)whoever hears my word and (O)believes him who sent me has eternal life. He (P)does not come into judgment, but (Q)has passed from death to life.

Witnesses to Jesus
30 (AB)“I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge, and (AC)my judgment is just, because (AD)I seek not my own will (AE)but the will of him who sent me. 31 (AF)If I alone bear witness about myself, my testimony is not true. 32 There is (AG)another who bears witness about me, and (AH)I know that the testimony that he bears about me is true. 33 (AI)You sent to John, and he has borne witness to the truth. 34 Not that (AJ)the testimony that I receive is from man, but I say these things so that you may be saved. 35 He was a burning and (AK)shining lamp, and (AL)you were willing to rejoice for a while in his light. 36 But (AM)the testimony that I have is greater than that of John. For (AN)the works that the Father has given me (AO)to accomplish, the very works that I am doing, (AP)bear witness about me that (AQ)the Father has sent me. 37 And the Father who sent me (AR)has himself borne witness about me.
