⁵ But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are ^(A)storing up ^(B)wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God's righteous judgment will be revealed.

^6 (C)He will render to each one according to his works: ⁷ to those who ^(D)by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; ⁸ but for those who are self-seeking^[a] and ^(E)do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury. ⁹ There will be tribulation and distress ^(F)for every human being who does evil, the Jew ^(G)first and also the Greek,

^16 (A)calling to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of ^(B)him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb, ¹⁷ for ^(C)the great day of their wrath has come, and ^(D)who can stand?”

^24 (A)He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we ^(B)might die to sin and ^(C)live to righteousness. ^(D)By his wounds you have been healed.

^36 (A)Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; ^(B)whoever does not obey the Son shall not ^(C)see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.
