^6 (A)who will render to each person according to his deeds:

⁸ but to those who are ^(A)selfishly ambitious and ^(B)do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, wrath and indignation.

⁵ But if our unrighteousness ^[a](A)demonstrates the righteousness of God, ^(B)what shall we say? The God who inflicts wrath is not unrighteous, is He? (^(C)I am speaking in human terms.)

^6 (A)May it never be! For otherwise, how will ^(B)God judge the world?

⁶ for they poured out ^(A)the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them ^(B)blood to drink. They ^[a]deserve it.”

⁷ And I heard ^(A)the altar saying, “Yes, O ^(B)Lord God, the Almighty, ^(C)true and righteous are Your judgments.”
