    and my feet from stumbling,
that I may walk before God
    in the light of life.^(B)

⁸ For you, Lord, have delivered me^(A) from death,
    my eyes from tears,
    my feet from stumbling,
⁹ that I may walk before the Lord^(B)
    in the land of the living.^(C)

³⁰ to turn them back^(A) from the pit,^(B)
    that the light of life^(C) may shine on them.^(D)

⁵ My steps have held to your paths;^(A)
    my feet have not stumbled.^(B)

¹⁵ But God will redeem me from the realm of the dead;^(A)
    he will surely take me to himself.^(B)

⁵ Come, descendants of Jacob,^(A)
    let us walk in the light^(B) of the Lord.
