¹⁰ Many are the woes of the wicked,^(A)
    but the Lord’s unfailing love
    surrounds the one who trusts^(B) in him.

²⁰ Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers,^[a](A)
    and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord.^(B)

² Surely God is my salvation;^(A)
    I will trust^(B) and not be afraid.
The Lord, the Lord himself,^(C) is my strength^(D) and my defense^[a];
    he has become my salvation.^(E)”
³ With joy you will draw water^(F)
    from the wells^(G) of salvation.

²¹ Trouble pursues the sinner,^(A)
    but the righteous^(B) are rewarded with good things.^(C)

¹¹ the Lord delights^(A) in those who fear him,^(B)
    who put their hope^(C) in his unfailing love.^(D)

⁵ Blessed are those^(A) whose help^(B) is the God of Jacob,
    whose hope is in the Lord their God.

⁸ Taste and see that the Lord is good;^(A)
    blessed is the one who takes refuge^(B) in him.

¹² Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous;^(A)
    you surround them^(B) with your favor as with a shield.^(C)
