¹² Who, then, are those who fear the Lord?^(A)
    He will instruct them in the ways^(B) they should choose.^[a]

²³ The Lord makes firm the steps^(A)
    of the one who delights^(B) in him;

⁸ I will instruct^(A) you and teach you^(B) in the way you should go;
    I will counsel you with my loving eye on^(C) you.

¹³ Now all has been heard;
    here is the conclusion of the matter:
Fear God^(A) and keep his commandments,^(B)
    for this is the duty of all mankind.^(C)

¹⁰ The fear of the Lord^(A) is the beginning of wisdom;^(B)
    all who follow his precepts have good understanding.^(C)
    To him belongs eternal praise.^(D)

¹⁰ Who among you fears^(A) the Lord
    and obeys^(B) the word of his servant?^(C)
Let the one who walks in the dark,
    who has no light,^(D)
trust^(E) in the name of the Lord
    and rely on their God.

⁷ The fear of the Lord^(A) is the beginning of knowledge,
    but fools^[a] despise wisdom^(B) and instruction.^(C)
