¹¹ And it happened, as they fled before Israel and were on the descent of Beth Horon, ^(A)that the Lord cast down large hailstones from heaven on them as far as Azekah, and they died. There were more who died from the hailstones than the children of Israel killed with the sword.

²¹ And great hail from heaven fell upon men, each hailstone about the weight of a talent. Men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, since that plague was exceedingly great.

^5 (A)While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, ^(B)“This is My beloved Son, ^(C)in whom I am well pleased. ^(D)Hear Him!”

² and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.

²³ And Moses stretched out his rod toward heaven; and ^(A)the Lord sent thunder and hail, and fire darted to the ground. And the Lord rained hail on the land of Egypt. ²⁴ So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, so very heavy that there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.
