⁸ Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,^(A)
    for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way^(B) I should go,

⁴ Show me your ways, Lord,
    teach me your paths.^(A)
5 Guide me in your truth^(B) and teach me,
    for you are God my Savior,^(C)
    and my hope is in you^(D) all day long.

⁵ Trust in the Lord^(A) with all your heart
    and lean not on your own understanding;
⁶ in all your ways submit to him,
    and he will make your paths^(B) straight.^[a](C)

¹⁷ This is what the Lord says—
    your Redeemer,^(A) the Holy One^(B) of Israel:
“I am the Lord your God,
    who teaches^(C) you what is best for you,
    who directs^(D) you in the way^(E) you should go.

⁵ God is within her,^(A) she will not fall;^(B)
    God will help^(C) her at break of day.

⁸ I will instruct^(A) you and teach you^(B) in the way you should go;
    I will counsel you with my loving eye on^(C) you.

¹⁶ But I will sing^(A) of your strength,^(B)
    in the morning^(C) I will sing of your love;^(D)
for you are my fortress,^(E)
    my refuge in times of trouble.^(F)

¹⁰ Teach me^(A) to do your will,
    for you are my God;^(B)
may your good Spirit
