³⁵ Say also,

Then all the people said “Amen!” and praised the Lord.^(B)

¹⁰ They cried out in a loud voice, saying,

¹¹ And all the angels stood around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, ¹² singing,

¹⁴ But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession and through us spreads in every place the fragrance that comes from knowing him.^[a]

²⁵ Therefore thus says the Lord God: Now I will restore the fortunes of Jacob and have mercy on the whole house of Israel, and I will be jealous for my holy name.^{(A) 26} They shall bear their shame, and all the treachery they have practiced against me, when they live securely in their land with no one to make them afraid,^{(B) 27} when I have brought them back from the peoples and gathered them from their enemies’ lands and through them have displayed my holiness in the sight of many nations.^{(C) 28} Then they shall know that I am the Lord their God because I sent them into exile among the nations and then gathered them into their own land. I will leave none of them behind,^{(D) 29} and I will never again hide my face from them, when I pour out my spirit upon the house of Israel, says the Lord God.^(E)

²¹ then say to them, “Thus says the Lord God: I will take the people of Israel from the nations among which they have gone and will gather them from every quarter and bring them to their own land.^{(A) 22} I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel, and one king shall be king over them all. Never again shall they be two nations, and never again shall they be divided into two kingdoms.^{(B) 23} They shall never again defile themselves with their idols and their detestable things or with any of their transgressions. I will save them from all the apostasies into which they have fallen^[a] and will cleanse them. Then they shall be my people, and I will be their God.^(C)

²⁴ “My servant David shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd. They shall follow my ordinances and be careful to observe my statutes.^{(D) 25} They shall live in the land that I gave to my servant Jacob, in which your ancestors lived; they and their children and their children’s children shall live there forever, and my servant David shall be their prince forever.^{(E) 26} I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them, and I will bless^[b] them and multiply them and will set my sanctuary among them forevermore.^{(F) 27} My dwelling place shall be over them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.^{(G) 28} Then the nations shall know that I the Lord sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary is among them forevermore.”^(H)

²⁴ I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries and bring you into your own land.^{(A) 25} I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you.^{(B) 26} A new heart I will give you, and a new spirit I will put within you, and I will remove from your body the heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.^{(C) 27} I will put my spirit within you and make you follow my statutes and be careful to observe my ordinances.^{(D) 28} Then you shall live in the land that I gave to your ancestors, and you shall be my people, and I will be your God.^(E)

³⁷ See, I am going to gather them from all the lands to which I drove them in my anger and my wrath and in great indignation; I will bring them back to this place, and I will settle them in safety.^{(A) 38} They shall be my people, and I will be their God. ³⁹ I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me for all time, for their own good and the good of their children after them.^{(B) 40} I will make an everlasting covenant with them, never to draw back from doing good to them, and I will put the fear of me in their hearts, so that they may not turn from me. ⁴¹ I will rejoice in doing good to them, and I will plant them in this land in faithfulness, with all my heart and all my soul.^(C)
