³     and lays the beams^(A) of his upper chambers on their waters.^(B)
He makes the clouds^(C) his chariot^(D)
    and rides on the wings of the wind.^(E)

⁶ he builds his lofty palace^[a](A) in the heavens
    and sets its foundation^[b] on the earth;
he calls for the waters of the sea
    and pours them out over the face of the land—
    the Lord is his name.^(B)

See, the Lord rides on a swift cloud^(C)
    and is coming to Egypt.
The idols of Egypt tremble before him,
    and the hearts of the Egyptians melt^(D) with fear.

¹¹ He mounted the cherubim^(A) and flew;
    he soared^[a] on the wings of the wind.^(B)

⁹ If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
    if I settle on the far side of the sea,

11 He made darkness his covering,^(D) his canopy^(E) around him—
    the dark rain clouds of the sky.

⁷ “Look, he is coming with the clouds,”^[a](A)
    and “every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him”;^(B)
    and all peoples on earth “will mourn^(C) because of him.”^[b]
