²⁴ See if there is any offensive way^(A) in me,
    and lead me^(B) in the way everlasting.

¹⁰ Teach me^(A) to do your will,
    for you are my God;^(B)
may your good Spirit
    lead^(C) me on level ground.^(D)

⁹ The heart^(A) is deceitful above all things
    and beyond cure.
    Who can understand it?

¹⁰ “I the Lord search the heart^(B)
    and examine the mind,^(C)
to reward^(D) each person according to their conduct,
    according to what their deeds deserve.”^(E)

⁸ Good and upright^(A) is the Lord;
    therefore he instructs^(B) sinners in his ways.
⁹ He guides^(C) the humble in what is right
    and teaches them^(D) his way.
