¹¹ If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
    and the light become night around me,”

²² He reveals the deep things of darkness^(A)
    and brings utter darkness^(B) into the light.^(C)

²⁴ Who can hide^(A) in secret places
    so that I cannot see them?”
declares the Lord.
    “Do not I fill heaven and earth?”^(B)
declares the Lord.

⁷ They say, “The Lord does not see;^(A)
    the God of Jacob^(B) takes no notice.”

¹² “Is not God in the heights of heaven?^(A)
    And see how lofty are the highest stars!
¹³ Yet you say, ‘What does God know?^(B)
    Does he judge through such darkness?^(C)
14 Thick clouds^(D) veil him, so he does not see us^(E)
    as he goes about in the vaulted heavens.’^(F)
