Proverbs 6:10-18

¹⁰^(A)A little sleep, a little slumber,
^(B)a little ^(C)folding of the hands to rest,
¹¹^(D)and poverty will come upon you like a robber,
and want like an armed man.

¹²^(E)A worthless person, a wicked man,
    goes about with ^(F)crooked speech,
¹³^(G)winks with his eyes, signals^[a] with his feet,
    points with his finger,
¹⁴with ^(H)perverted heart ^(I)devises evil,
    continually ^(J)sowing discord;
¹⁵therefore calamity will come upon him suddenly;
    ^(K)in a moment he will be broken ^(L)beyond healing.

¹⁶There are ^(M)six things that the Lord hates,
    ^(N)seven that are an abomination to him:
¹⁷^(O)haughty eyes, ^(P)a lying tongue,
    and ^(Q)hands that shed innocent blood,
¹⁸^(R)a heart that devises wicked plans,
    ^(S)feet that make haste to run to evil,
