^9 (A)Honor the Lord with your possessions,
And with the firstfruits of all your increase;
^10 (B)So your barns will be filled with plenty,
And your vats will overflow with new wine.

^27 (A)Do not withhold good from ^[a]those to whom it is due,
When it is in the power of your hand to do so.
^28 (B)Do not say to your neighbor,
“Go, and come back,
And tomorrow I will give it,”
When you have it with you.

²⁴ There is one who ^(A)scatters, yet increases more;
And there is one who withholds more than is right,
But it leads to poverty.
^25 (B)The generous soul will be made rich,
^(C)And he who waters will also be watered himself.

^9 (A)He who has a ^[a]generous eye will be ^(B)blessed,
For he gives of his bread to the poor.
