¹⁶ A prince destitute of understanding is also a great oppressor: but he that hateth covetousness, shall prolong his days.

¹⁷ A man that doeth violence against the blood of a person, shall flee unto the grave, and they shall not ^[b]stay him.

^28 (A)When the wicked rise up, men hide themselves: but when they perish, the righteous increase.

^2 (A)When the righteous ^[a]are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people sigh.

⁴ A king by judgment maintaineth the country: but a man receiving gifts, destroyeth it.

¹² Of a prince that hearkeneth to lies, all his servants are wicked.

¹⁴ A ^(A)King that judgeth the poor in truth, his throne shall be established forever.

¹⁶ When the wicked are increased, transgression increaseth: but the righteous shall see their fall.

^18 [a]Where there is no vision, the people decay: but he that keepeth the law is blessed.
