¹² The eyes of the Lord preserve knowledge, and he overthroweth the words of the transgressor.

¹⁷ Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth:

¹⁸ Lest the Lord see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him.

⁵ Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

⁶ Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
