Proverbs 10:3-5

English Standard Version

³^(A)The Lord does not let the righteous go hungry,
    ^(B)but he thwarts the craving of the wicked.
⁴A slack hand ^(C)causes poverty,
    ^(D)but the hand of the diligent makes rich.
⁵He who ^(E)gathers in summer is a prudent son,
    but he who sleeps in harvest is ^(F)a son who brings shame.
