Proverbs 28:8

⁸Whoever increases his wealth by charging exorbitant interest^[a]
amasses it for another who will be generous to the poor.

Proverbs 28:8

King James Version

⁸He that by usury and unjust gain increaseth his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.

⁸Whoever increases wealth by taking interest^(A) or profit from the poor
amasses it for another,^(B) who will be kind to the poor.^(C)

⁸One who increases his possessions by usury and extortion
Gathers it for him who will pity the poor.

⁸Whoever multiplies his wealth ^(A)by interest and profit^[a]
^(B)gathers it for him who is ^(C)generous to the poor.
