²⁴ Whoever ^(A)says to the wicked, “You are in the right,”
    ^(B)will be cursed by peoples, abhorred by nations,

¹⁵ He who ^(A)justifies the wicked and he who ^(B)condemns the righteous
    are both alike an abomination to the Lord.

²³ who ^(A)acquit the guilty for a bribe,
    and deprive the innocent of his right!

^26 (A)The people curse him who holds back grain,
    but ^(B)a blessing is on the head of him who ^(C)sells it.

²⁷ Whoever ^(A)gives to the poor will not want,
    but he who ^(B)hides his eyes will get many a curse.

^10 (A)Therefore I will give their wives to others
    and their fields to conquerors,
because from the least to the greatest
    everyone ^(B)is greedy for unjust gain;
from prophet to priest,
    everyone deals falsely.
¹¹ They have healed ^(C)the wound of my people lightly,
    saying, ‘Peace, peace,’
    when there is no peace.
