²⁸ “You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied. “Do this and you will live.”^(A)

²⁸ He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God^(A) and obey it.”^(B)

³ In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands.^(A) And his commands are not burdensome,^(B)

²² and receive from him anything we ask,^(A) because we keep his commands^(B) and do what pleases him.^(C)
