Philippians 3:7-11
New King James Version
7 But (A)what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. 8 Yet indeed I also count all things loss (B)for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in Him, not having (C)my own righteousness, which is from the law, but (D)that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; 10 that I may know Him and the (E)power of His resurrection, and (F)the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, 11 if, by any means, I may (G)attain[a] to the resurrection from the dead.

Not Ashamed of the Gospel
8 (A)Therefore do not be ashamed of (B)the testimony of our Lord, nor of me (C)His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, 9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, (D)not according to our works, but (E)according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus (F)before time began, 10 but (G)has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, 11 (H)to which I was appointed a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher [a]of the Gentiles. 12 For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, (I)for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.

Suffering for God’s Glory
12 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; 13 but rejoice (A)to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that (B)when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. 14 If you are [a]reproached for the name of Christ, (C)blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. [b]On their part He is blasphemed, (D)but on your part He is glorified. 15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a [c]busybody in other people’s matters. 16 Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this [d]matter.
