¹⁵ Let those of us who are ^(A)mature think this way, and if in anything ^(B)you think otherwise, ^(C)God will reveal that also to you.

^10 (A)I have confidence in the Lord that you will ^(B)take no other view, and ^(C)the one who is troubling you will bear the penalty, whoever he is.

^17 (A)If anyone's will is to do God's^[a] will, ^(B)he will know whether the teaching is from God or whether I ^(C)am speaking on my own authority.

Wisdom from the Spirit

⁶ Yet among ^(A)the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not ^(B)a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, ^(C)who are doomed to pass away.

⁴ And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be ^(A)perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

^5 (B)If any of you lacks wisdom, ^(C)let him ask God, ^(D)who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

^12 (A)Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, greets you, always ^(B)struggling on your behalf in his prayers, that you may stand ^(C)mature and fully assured in all the will of God.

Straining Toward the Goal

¹² Not that I have already ^(A)obtained this or ^(B)am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. ¹³ Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: ^(C)forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, ¹⁴ I press on toward the goal for ^(D)the prize of the upward ^(E)call of God in Christ Jesus.

²⁰ Brothers, ^(A)do not be children in your thinking. ^(B)Be infants in evil, but in your thinking be ^(C)mature.
