20 It is my firm expectation and hope that I will not be put to shame in any way, but will act with complete fearlessness, now as always, so that Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by my life or by my death.

21 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.[a] 22 But if I continue living in the body, that will mean fruitful work for me. Hence, I do not know which I should choose.
