Philippians 4

4 1 Therefore, my brothers and sisters,[a] whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord in this way, my beloved.
Exhortations
2 I urge Euodia and I urge Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord. 3 Yes, and I ask you also, my loyal companion,[b] help these women, for they have struggled beside me in the work of the gospel, together with Clement and the rest of my co-workers, whose names are in the book of life.
4 Rejoice[c] in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice.[d] 5 Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is near. 6 Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, beloved,[e] whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about[f] these things. 9 Keep on doing the things that you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you.
Acknowledgment of the Philippians’ Gift
10 I rejoice[g] in the Lord greatly that now at last you have revived your concern for me; indeed, you were concerned for me, but had no opportunity to show it.[h] 11 Not that I am referring to being in need; for I have learned to be content with whatever I have. 12 I know what it is to have little, and I know what it is to have plenty. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret of being well-fed and of going hungry, of having plenty and of being in need. 13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me. 14 In any case, it was kind of you to share my distress.
15 You Philippians indeed know that in the early days of the gospel, when I left Macedonia, no church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you alone. 16 For even when I was in Thessalonica, you sent me help for my needs more than once. 17 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the profit that accumulates to your account. 18 I have been paid in full and have more than enough; I am fully satisfied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God. 19 And my God will fully satisfy every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. 20 To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
Final Greetings and Benediction
21 Greet every saint in Christ Jesus. The friends[i] who are with me greet you. 22 All the saints greet you, especially those of the emperor’s household.
23 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.[j]

10 (C)Ho avuto una grande gioia nel Signore, perché finalmente avete rinnovato le vostre cure per me; ci pensavate sì, ma vi mancava l’opportunità. 11 Non lo dico perché mi trovi nel bisogno, poiché io ho imparato ad accontentarmi dello stato in cui mi trovo. 12 So vivere nella povertà e anche nell’abbondanza; in tutto e per tutto ho imparato a essere saziato e ad aver fame; a essere nell’abbondanza e nell’indigenza. 13 Io posso ogni cosa in colui che mi fortifica[b]. 14 Tuttavia avete fatto bene a prendere parte alla mia afflizione.
15 Anche voi sapete, Filippesi, che quando cominciai a predicare il vangelo, dopo aver lasciato la Macedonia, nessuna chiesa mi fece parte di nulla per quanto concerne il dare e l’avere, se non voi soli; 16 perché anche a Tessalonica[c] mi avete mandato, una prima e poi una seconda volta, ciò che mi occorreva. 17 Non lo dico perché io ricerchi i doni; ricerco piuttosto il frutto che abbondi a vostro conto. 18 Ora ho ricevuto ogni cosa e sono nell’abbondanza. 2 Ich ermahne Euodia und ich ermahne Syntyche, eines Sinnes zu sein im Herrn.
3 Und ich bitte auch dich, mein treuer Mitknecht, nimm dich ihrer an, die mit mir gekämpft haben für das Evangelium, samt Clemens und meinen übrigen Mitarbeitern, deren Namen im Buch des Lebens sind.
4 Freut euch im Herrn allezeit; abermals sage ich: Freut euch!
5 Eure Sanftmut lasst alle Menschen erfahren! Der Herr ist nahe!
6 Sorgt euch um nichts; sondern in allem lasst durch Gebet und Flehen mit Danksagung eure Anliegen vor Gott kundwerden.
7 Und der Friede Gottes, der allen Verstand übersteigt, wird eure Herzen und eure Gedanken bewahren in Christus Jesus!

Paulus dankt für die Gaben der Philipper
10 Ich habe mich aber sehr gefreut im Herrn, dass ihr euch wieder so weit erholt habt, um für mich sorgen zu können; ihr habt auch sonst daran gedacht, aber ihr wart nicht in der Lage dazu.
11 Nicht wegen des Mangels sage ich das; ich habe nämlich gelernt, mit der Lage zufrieden zu sein, in der ich mich befinde.
12 Denn ich verstehe mich aufs Armsein, ich verstehe mich aber auch aufs Reichsein; ich bin mit allem und jedem vertraut, sowohl satt zu sein als auch zu hungern, sowohl Überfluss zu haben als auch Mangel zu leiden.
13 Ich vermag alles durch den[b], der mich stark macht, Christus.
14 Doch habt ihr recht gehandelt, dass ihr Anteil nahmt an meiner Bedrängnis.
15 Und ihr Philipper wisst ja auch, dass am Anfang [der Verkündigung] des Evangeliums, als ich von Mazedonien aufbrach, keine Gemeinde mit mir Gemeinschaft gehabt hat im Geben und Nehmen als ihr allein;
16 denn auch nach Thessalonich habt ihr mir einmal, und sogar zweimal, etwas zur Deckung meiner Bedürfnisse gesandt.
17 Nicht dass ich nach der Gabe verlange, sondern ich verlange danach, dass die Frucht reichlich ausfalle auf eurer Rechnung.
18 Ich habe alles und habe Überfluss; ich bin völlig versorgt, seitdem ich von Epaphroditus eure Gabe empfangen habe, einen lieblichen Wohlgeruch, ein angenehmes Opfer, Gott wohlgefällig.
19 Mein Gott aber wird allen euren Mangel ausfüllen nach seinem Reichtum in Herrlichkeit in Christus Jesus.
20 Unserem Gott und Vater aber sei die Ehre von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit! Amen.

Keresztyén élet becsületben és örömben
4 Ezért tehát, testvéreim, akiket szeretek, és akik után vágyódom, örömöm és koronám, így maradjatok meg az Úrban, szeretteim!
2 Evódiát intem, és Szüntükhét is intem, hogy legyen közöttük egyetértés az Úrban.
3 Sőt téged is kérlek, hűséges munkatársam, segíts nekik, akik együtt küzdöttek velem az evangéliumért; Kelemennel és a többi munkatársammal is, akiknek a neve benne van az élet könyvében.
4 Örüljetek az Úrban mindenkor! Ismét mondom: örüljetek.
5 A ti szelídségetek legyen ismert minden ember előtt. Az Úr közel!
6 Semmiért se aggódjatok, hanem imádságban és könyörgésben mindenkor hálaadással tárjátok fel kéréseiteket Isten előtt;

Köszönet a gyülekezet gondoskodásáért
10 Nagy volt az örömöm az Úrban, hogy végre felbuzdultatok a velem való törődésre. Mert gondoskodtatok volna, de nem volt rá alkalmatok.
11 Nem a nélkülözés mondatja ezt velem, mert én megtanultam, hogy körülményeim között elégedett legyek.
12 Tudok szűkölködni és tudok bővölködni is, egészen be vagyok avatva mindenbe, jóllakásba és éhezésbe, a bővölködésbe és a nélkülözésbe egyaránt.
13 Mindenre van erőm a Krisztusban, aki megerősít engem.
14 Mégis jól tettétek, hogy közösséget vállaltatok velem nyomorúságomban.
15 Azt pedig tudjátok ti is, filippiek, hogy az evangélium hirdetésének kezdetén, amikor eltávoztam Macedóniából, az ajándékozás és elfogadás tekintetében egyetlen gyülekezet sem állt velem kapcsolatban, csak ti egyedül,
16 mert egyszer-másszor Thesszalonikába is küldtetek szükségleteimre.
