Called to Blessing

⁸ Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be ^[a]courteous; ^9 (A)not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary ^(B)blessing, knowing that you were called to this, ^(C)that you may inherit a blessing. ¹⁰ For

^2 (A)fulfill my joy ^(B)by being like-minded, having the same love, being of ^(C)one accord, of one mind. ^3 (D)Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but ^(E)in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.

Walk in Unity

4 I, therefore, the prisoner ^[a]of the Lord, ^[b]beseech you to ^(A)walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, ² with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, ³ endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit ^(B)in the bond of peace. ^4 (C)There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; ^5 (D)one Lord, ^(E)one faith, ^(F)one baptism; ^6 (G)one God and Father of all, who is above all, and ^(H)through all, and in ^[c]you all.

Spiritual Gifts

⁷ But ^(I)to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. ⁸ Therefore He says:

¹³ and to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. ^(A)Be at peace among yourselves.

^16 (A)Be of the same mind toward one another. ^(B)Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.

^17 (C)Repay no one evil for evil. ^(D)Have^[a] regard for good things in the sight of all men. ¹⁸ If it is possible, as much as depends on you, ^(E)live peaceably with all men.
