¹⁹ And my God will meet all your needs^(A) according to the riches of his glory^(B) in Christ Jesus.

⁸ And God is able^(A) to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need,^(B) you will abound in every good work. ⁹ As it is written:

¹⁰ Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food^(E) will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.^{(F) 11} You will be enriched^(G) in every way so that you can be generous^(H) on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.^(I)

¹⁰ And the God of all grace, who called you^(A) to his eternal glory^(B) in Christ, after you have suffered a little while,^(C) will himself restore you and make you strong,^(D) firm and steadfast.

¹⁷ Command those who are rich^(A) in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth,^(B) which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God,^(C) who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.^(D)

Psalm 23

A psalm of David.

³⁰ For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father^(A) knows that you need them.^{(B) 31} But seek his kingdom,^(C) and these things will be given to you as well.^(D)

³² “Do not be afraid,^(E) little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.^{(F) 33} Sell your possessions and give to the poor.^(G) Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven^(H) that will never fail, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys.^(I)
