^10 (A)that I may know him and ^(B)the power of his resurrection, and ^(C)may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,

²⁰ I have been ^(A)crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives ^(B)in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, ^(C)who loved me and ^(D)gave himself for me.

Stewards of God's Grace

4 Since therefore ^(A)Christ suffered in the flesh,^{[a] (B)}arm yourselves with the same way of thinking, for ^(C)whoever has suffered in the flesh ^(D)has ceased from sin, ^2 (E)so as to live for ^(F)the rest of the time in the flesh ^(G)no longer for human passions but ^(H)for the will of God.

¹¹ The saying is ^(A)trustworthy, for:

¹⁷ and if children, then ^(A)heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, ^(B)provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.

³ Do you not know that all of us ^(A)who have been baptized ^(B)into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? ⁴ We were ^(C)buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as ^(D)Christ was raised from the dead by ^(E)the glory of the Father, we too might walk in ^(F)newness of life.

⁵ For ^(G)if we have been united with him in ^(H)a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. ⁶ We know that ^(I)our old self^{[a] (J)}was crucified with him in order that ^(K)the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. ⁷ For ^(L)one who has died ^(M)has been set free^[b] from sin. ⁸ Now ^(N)if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. ⁹ We know that ^(O)Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; ^(P)death no longer has dominion over him. ¹⁰ For the death he died he died to sin, ^(Q)once for all, but the life he lives he lives to God. ¹¹ So you also must consider yourselves ^(R)dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.

¹⁹ and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, ^(A)according to the working of ^(B)his great might ²⁰ that he worked in Christ ^(C)when he raised him from the dead and ^(D)seated him at his right hand ^(E)in the heavenly places, ^21 (F)far above ^(G)all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above ^(H)every name that is named, not only in ^(I)this age but also in the one to come.

¹³ But rejoice ^(A)insofar as you share Christ's sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad ^(B)when his glory is revealed. ^14 (C)If you are insulted ^(D)for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory^[a] and of God rests upon you.

⁸ Indeed, I count everything as loss because of ^(A)the surpassing worth of ^(B)knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I ^(C)have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ
