^2 (A)We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers,

Walk in Christ’s Commandments

⁴ I ^(A)rejoiced greatly that I have found some of your children walking in truth, as we received commandment from the Father.

⁹ For ^(A)God is my witness, ^(B)whom I serve ^[a]with my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that ^(C)without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers,

⁷ For we ^[a]have great ^[b]joy and ^[c]consolation in your love, because the ^[d]hearts of the saints have been refreshed by you, brother.

¹⁹ For ^(A)what is our hope, or joy, or ^(B)crown of rejoicing? Is it not even you in the ^(C)presence of our Lord Jesus Christ ^(D)at His coming? ²⁰ For you are our glory and joy.

^14 (A)who^[a] is the ^[b]guarantee of our inheritance ^(B)until the redemption of ^(C)the purchased possession, ^(D)to the praise of His glory.

Prayer for Spiritual Wisdom

¹⁵ Therefore I also, ^(E)after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, ^16 (F)do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: ¹⁷ that ^(G)the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, ^(H)may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, ^18 (I)the eyes of your ^[c]understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is ^(J)the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, ¹⁹ and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, ^(K)according to the working of His mighty power ²⁰ which He worked in Christ when ^(L)He raised Him from the dead and ^(M)seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, ^21 (N)far above all ^(O)principality^[d] and ^[e]power and ^[f]might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.

²² And ^(P)He put all things under His feet, and gave Him ^(Q)to be head over all things to the church, ^23 (R)which is His body, ^(S)the fullness of Him ^(T)who fills all in all.

⁵ For ^(A)though I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing ^[a]to see ^(B)your good order and the ^(C)steadfastness of your faith in Christ.

Be Anxious for Nothing; Think These Thoughts

4 Therefore, my beloved and ^(A)longed-for brethren, ^(B)my joy and crown, so ^(C)stand fast in the Lord, beloved.
