26 Il Signore disse a Mosè e ad Eleazaro, figlio del sacerdote Aronne: 2 «Fate il censimento di tutta la comunità degli Israeliti, dall'età di vent'anni in su, secondo i loro casati paterni, di quanti in Israele possono andare in guerra». 3 Mosè e il sacerdote Eleazaro dissero loro nelle steppe di Moab presso il Giordano di fronte a Gerico: 4 «Si faccia il censimento dall'età di vent'anni in su, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè e agli Israeliti, quando uscirono dal paese d'Egitto».
5 Ruben primogenito d'Israele. Figli di Ruben: Enoch, da cui discende la famiglia degli Enochiti; Pallu, da cui discende la famiglia dei Palluiti; 6 Chezron, da cui discende la famiglia degli Chezroniti; Carmi, da cui discende la famiglia dei Carmiti. 7 Tali sono le famiglie dei Rubeniti: quelli che furono registrati erano quarantatremilasettecentotrenta. 8 Figli di Pallu: Eliab. 9 Figli di Eliab: Nemuel, Datan e Abiram. Questi sono quel Datan e quell'Abiram, membri del consiglio, che si ribellarono contro Mosè e contro Aronne con la gente di Core, quando questa si era ribellata contro il Signore; 10 la terra spalancò la bocca e li inghiottì insieme con Core, quando quella gente perì e il fuoco divorò duecentocinquanta uomini, che servirono d'esempio. 11 Ma i figli di Core non perirono.

Da Sefon discende la famiglia dei Sefoniti; da Agghi la famiglia degli Agghiti; da Suni la famiglia dei Suniti; 16 da Ozni la famiglia degli Ozniti; da Eri la famiglia degli Eriti; 17 da Arod la famiglia degli Aroditi; da Areli la famiglia degli Areliti. 18 Tali sono le famiglie dei figli di Gad. Ne furono registrati quarantamilacinquecento.
19 Figli di Giuda: Er e Onan; ma Er e Onan morirono nel paese di Canaan. 20 Ecco i figli di Giuda secondo le loro famiglie: da Sela discende la famiglia degli Selaniti; da Perez la famiglia dei Pereziti; da Zerach la famiglia degli Zerachiti. 21 I figli di Perez furono: Chezron da cui discende la famiglia dei Chezroniti; Amul da cui discende la famiglia degli Amuliti. 22 Tali sono le famiglie di Giuda. Ne furono registrati settantaseimilacinquecento.
23 Figli di Issacar secondo le loro famiglie: da Tola discende la famiglia dei Tolaiti; da Puva la famiglia dei Puviti; 24 da Iasub la famiglia degli Iasubiti; da Simron la famiglia dei Simroniti. 25 Tali sono le famiglie di Issacar. Ne furono registrati sessantaquattromilatrecento.
26 Figli di Zàbulon secondo le loro famiglie: da Sered discende la famiglia dei Serediti; da Elon la famiglia degli Eloniti; da Iacleel la famiglia degli Iacleeliti. 27 Tali sono le famiglie degli Zabuloniti. Ne furono registrati sessantamilacinquecento.
28 Figli di Giuseppe secondo le loro famiglie: Manàsse ed Efraim. 29 Figli di Manàsse: da Machir discende la famiglia dei Machiriti. Machir generò Gàlaad. Da Gàlaad discende la famiglia dei Galaaditi. 30 Questi sono i figli di Gàlaad: Iezer da cui discende la famiglia degli Iezeriti; Elek da cui discende la famiglia degli Eleciti; 31 Asriel da cui discende la famiglia degli Asrieliti; Sichem da cui discende la famiglia dei Sichemiti; 32 Semida da cui discende la famiglia dei Semiditi; Efer da cui discende la famiglia degli Eferiti. 33 Ora Zelofcad, figlio di Efer, non ebbe maschi ma soltanto figlie e le figlie di Zelofcad si chiamarono Macla, Noa, Ogla, Milca e Tirza. 34 Tali sono le famiglie di Manàsse: gli uomini registrati furono cinquantaduemilasettecento.
35 Questi sono i figli di Efraim secondo le loro famiglie: da Sutelach discende la famiglia dei Sutelachiti; da Beker la famiglia dei Bekeriti; da Tacan la famiglia dei Tacaniti. 36 Questi sono i figli di Sutelach: da Erano è discesa la famiglia degli Eraniti. 37 Tali sono le famiglie dei figli di Efraim. Ne furono registrati trentaduemilacinquecento. Questi sono i figli di Giuseppe secondo le loro famiglie.
38 Figli di Beniamino secondo le loro famiglie: da Bela discende la famiglia dei Belaiti; da Asbel la famiglia degli Asbeliti; da Airam la famiglia degli Airamiti; 39 da Sufam la famiglia degli Sufamiti; 40 da Ufam la famiglia degli Ufamiti. I figli di Bela furono Ard e Naaman; da Ard discende la famiglia degli Arditi; da Naaman discende la famiglia dei Naamiti. 41 Tali sono i figli di Beniamino secondo le loro famiglie. Gli uomini registrati furono quarantacinquemilaseicento.
42 Questi sono i figli di Dan secondo le loro famiglie: da Suam discende la famiglia dei Suamiti. Sono queste le famiglie di Dan secondo le loro famiglie. 43 Totale per le famiglie dei Suamiti: ne furono registrati sessantaquattromilaquattrocento.
44 Figli di Aser secondo le loro famiglie: da Imna discende la famiglia degli Imniti; da Isvi la famiglia degli Isviti; da Beria la famiglia dei Beriiti. 45 Dai figli di Beria discendono: da Eber la famiglia degli Eberiti; da Malchiel la famiglia dei Malchieliti. 46 La figlia di Aser si chiamava Sera. 47 Tali sono le famiglie dei figli di Aser. Ne furono registrati cinquantatremilaquattrocento.
48 Figli di Nèftali secondo le loro famiglie: da Iacseel discende la famiglia degli Iacseeliti; da Guni la famiglia dei Guniti; 49 da Ieser la famiglia degli Ieseriti; da Sillem la famiglia dei Sillemiti. 50 Tali sono le famiglie di Nèftali secondo le loro famiglie. Gli uomini registrati furono quarantacinquemilaquattrocento.
51 Questi sono gli Israeliti che furono registrati: seicentounmilasettecentotrenta.
52 Il Signore disse a Mosè: 53 «Il paese sarà diviso tra di essi, per essere la loro proprietà, secondo il numero delle persone. 54 A quelli che sono in maggior numero darai in possesso una porzione maggiore; a quelli che sono in minor numero darai una porzione minore; si darà a ciascuno la sua porzione secondo il censimento. 55 Ma la ripartizione del paese sarà gettata a sorte; essi riceveranno la rispettiva proprietà secondo i nomi delle loro tribù paterne. 56 La ripartizione delle proprietà sarà gettata a sorte per tutte le tribù grandi o piccole».

57 Questi sono i leviti dei quali si fece il censimento secondo le loro famiglie: da Gherson discende la famiglia dei Ghersoniti; da Keat la famiglia dei Keatiti; da Merari la famiglia dei Merariti.
58 Queste sono le famiglie di Levi: la famiglia dei Libniti, la famiglia degli Ebroniti, la famiglia dei Macliti, la famiglia dei Musiti, la famiglia dei Coriti. Keat generò Amram. 59 La moglie di Amram si chiamava Iochebed, figlia di Levi, che nacque a Levi in Egitto; essa partorì ad Amram Aronne, Mosè e Maria loro sorella. 60 Ad Aronne nacquero Nadab e Abiu, Eleazaro e Itamar. 61 Ora Nadab e Abiu morirono quando presentarono al Signore un fuoco profano. 62 Gli uomini registrati furono ventitremila: tutti maschi, dall'età di un mese in su. Non furono compresi nel censimento degli Israeliti perché non fu data loro alcuna proprietà tra gli Israeliti.
63 Questi sono i registrati da Mosè e dal sacerdote Eleazaro, i quali fecero il censimento degli Israeliti nelle steppe di Moab presso il Giordano di Gerico. 64 Fra questi non vi era alcuno di quegli Israeliti dei quali Mosè e il sacerdote Aronne avevano fatto il censimento nel deserto del Sinai, 65 perché il Signore aveva detto di loro: «Dovranno morire nel deserto!». E non ne rimase neppure uno, eccetto Caleb figlio di Iefunne, e Giosuè figlio di Nun.

26 После мора Вечный сказал Мусо и Элеазару, сыну священнослужителя Хоруна:
2 – Сделайте перепись всего народа Исроила, годных к военной службе, от двадцати лет и старше, по семьям их отцов.
3 На равнинах Моава у реки Иордана, напротив города Иерихона, Мусо и священнослужитель Элеазар говорили с ними и сказали:
4 – Сделайте перепись исроильтян от двадцати лет и старше, как повелел Мусо Вечный.
Вот исроильтяне, которые вышли из Египта:
5 Потомки Рувима, первенца Исроила:
через Ханоха – клан ханохитов;
через Фаллу – клан фаллуитов;
6 через Хецрона – клан хецронитов;
через Харми – клан хармитов.
7 Это кланы Рувима; исчислено было 43 730 человек.
8 Сыном Фаллу был Элиав, 9 а сыновьями Элиава – Немуил, Датан и Авирам. Датан и Авирам были знатными людьми. Они восстали против Мусо и Хоруна и оказались среди сообщников Кораха, когда те восстали против Вечного. 10 Земля разверзлась и поглотила их вместе с Корахом, сообщники которого погибли, когда огонь сжёг двести пятьдесят человек. Они стали предостережением. 11 Но сыновья Кораха не погибли в тот день.
12 Потомки Шимона по их кланам:
через Немуила – клан немуилитов;
через Иамина – клан иаминитов;
через Иахина – клан иахинитов;
13 через Зераха – клан зерахитов;
через Шаула – клан шаулитов.
14 Это кланы Шимона; 22 200 человек.
15 Потомки Гада по их кланам:
через Цефона – клан цефонитов;
через Хагги – клан хаггитов;
через Шуни – клан шунитов;
16 через Озни – клан ознитов;
через Ери – клан еритов;
17 через Ароди – клан ародитов;
через Арели – клан арелитов.
18 Это кланы Гада; исчислено было 40 500 человек.
19 Сыновьями Иуды были Ир и Онан. Они умерли в Ханоне.
20 Потомки Иуды по их кланам:
через Шелу – клан шеланитов;
через Фареца – клан фарецитов;
через Зераха – клан зерахитов;
21 Потомки Фареца:
через Хецрона – клан хецронитов;
через Хамула – клан хамулитов;
22 Это кланы Иуды; исчислено было 76 500 человек.
23 Потомки Иссокора по их кланам:
через Толу – клан толаитов;
через Пуа – клан пуанитов;
24 через Иашува – клан иашувитов;
через Шимрона – клан шимронитов.
25 Это кланы Иссокора; исчислено было 64 300 человек.
26 Потомки Завулона по их кланам:
через Середа – клан середитов;
через Елона – клан елонитов;
через Иахлеила – клан иахлеилитов.
27 Это кланы Завулона; исчислено было 60 500 человек.
28 Потомки Юсуфа по их кланам через Манассу и Ефраима:
29 Потомки Манассы:
через Махира – клан махиритов (Махир был отцом Галаада);
через Галаада – клан галаадитов.
30 Вот потомки Галаада:
через Иезера – клан иезеритов;
через Хелека – клан хелекитов;
31 через Асриила – клан асриилитов;
через Шахема – клан шахемитов,
32 через Шемиду – клан шемидитов;
через Хефера – клан хеферитов.
33 (У Целофхада, сына Хефера, не было сыновей; у него были только дочери; их звали Махла, Ноа, Хогла, Милка и Тирца.)
34 Это кланы Манассы; исчислено было 52 700 человек.
35 Вот потомки Ефраима по их кланам:
через Шутелаха – клан шутелахитов;
через Бехера – клан бехеритов;
через Тахана – клан таханитов.
36 Вот потомки Шутелаха:
через Ерана – клан еранитов.
37 Это кланы Ефраима; исчислено было 32 500 человек.
Это потомки Юсуфа по их кланам.
38 Потомки Вениамина по их кланам:
через Белу – клан белаитов;
через Ашбела – клан ашбелитов;
через Ахирама – клан ахирамитов;
39 через Шуфама – клан шуфамитов;
через Хуфама – клан хуфамитов.
40 Потомки Белы через Арда и Наамана:
через Арда – клан ардитов;
через Наамана – клан нааманитов.
41 Это кланы Вениамина; исчислено было 45 600 человек.
42 Вот потомки Дона по их кланам:
через Шухама – клан шухамитов.
Это кланы Дона: 43 все они были кланами шухамитов; исчислено было 64 400 человек.
44 Потомки Ошера по их кланам:
через Имну – клан имнитов;
через Ишви – клан ишвитов;
через Брию – клан бриитов;
45 а через потомков Брии:
через Хевера – клан хеверитов;
через Малкиила – клан малкиилитов.
46 (У Ошера была дочь, которую звали Серах.)
47 Это кланы Ошера; исчислено было 53 400 человек.
48 Потомки Неффалима по их кланам:
через Иахцеила – клан иахцеилитов;
через Гуни – клан гунитов;
49 через Иецера – клан иецеритов;
через Шиллема – клан шиллемитов.
50 Это кланы Неффалима; исчислено было 45 400 человек.
51 Всего исроильтян было 601 730 человек.
52 Вечный сказал Мусо:
53 – Землю нужно разделить между родами по числу людей. 54 Большему роду дай больший удел, а меньшему – меньший. Пусть каждый род получит надел по количеству исчисленных. 55 Пусть земля будет распределяться по жребию. Они получат наделы по числу людей в родах. 56 Пусть каждый надел распределяется по жребию между более и менее многочисленными.
57 Левиты, исчисленные по их кланам:
через Гершона – клан гершонитов;
через Каафа – клан каафитов;
через Мерари – клан мераритов.
58 Вот кланы левитов:
клан ливнитов;
клан хевронитов;
клан махлитов;
клан мушитов;
клан корахитов.
(Кааф был предком Амрама. 59 Жену Амрама звали Иохеведа, она была из потомков Леви и родилась среди левитов[a] в Египте. Амраму она родила Хоруна, Мусо и их сестру Марьям. 60 Хорун был отцом Надава и Авиуда, Элеазара и Итамара. 61 Но Надав и Авиуд умерли, когда принесли Вечному чуждый огонь[b].)
62 Всех исчисленных мужчин-левитов от месяца и старше было 23 000 человек. Они не были исчислены с остальными исроильтянами, потому что не получили своего надела.
63 Вот те, кого исчислили Мусо и священнослужитель Элеазар, когда они считали исроильтян на равнинах Моава у реки Иордана, напротив города Иерихона. 64 Среди них не было никого, кто был исчислен Мусо и священнослужителем Хоруном, когда они считали исроильтян в Синайской пустыне. 65 Ведь Вечный сказал им, что они непременно умрут в пустыне, и из них не осталось никого, кроме Халева, сына Иефоннии, и Иешуа, сына Нуна.

The Second Census
26 After the plague(A) the Lord said to Moses and Eleazar son of Aaron, the priest, 2 “Take a census(B) of the whole Israelite community by families—all those twenty years old or more who are able to serve in the army(C) of Israel.” 3 So on the plains of Moab(D) by the Jordan across from Jericho,(E) Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them and said, 4 “Take a census of the men twenty years old or more, as the Lord commanded Moses.”
These were the Israelites who came out of Egypt:(F)
5 The descendants of Reuben,(G) the firstborn son of Israel, were:
through Hanok,(H) the Hanokite clan;
through Pallu,(I) the Palluite clan;
6 through Hezron,(J) the Hezronite clan;
through Karmi,(K) the Karmite clan.
7 These were the clans of Reuben; those numbered were 43,730.
8 The son of Pallu was Eliab, 9 and the sons of Eliab(L) were Nemuel, Dathan and Abiram. The same Dathan and Abiram were the community(M) officials who rebelled against Moses and Aaron and were among Korah’s followers when they rebelled against the Lord.(N) 10 The earth opened its mouth and swallowed them(O) along with Korah, whose followers died when the fire devoured the 250 men.(P) And they served as a warning sign.(Q) 11 The line of Korah,(R) however, did not die out.(S)
12 The descendants of Simeon by their clans were:
through Nemuel,(T) the Nemuelite clan;
through Jamin,(U) the Jaminite clan;
through Jakin, the Jakinite clan;
13 through Zerah,(V) the Zerahite clan;
through Shaul, the Shaulite clan.
14 These were the clans of Simeon;(W) those numbered were 22,200.(X)
15 The descendants of Gad by their clans were:
through Zephon,(Y) the Zephonite clan;
through Haggi, the Haggite clan;
through Shuni, the Shunite clan;
16 through Ozni, the Oznite clan;
through Eri, the Erite clan;
17 through Arodi,[a] the Arodite clan;
through Areli, the Arelite clan.
18 These were the clans of Gad;(Z) those numbered were 40,500.
19 Er(AA) and Onan(AB) were sons of Judah, but they died(AC) in Canaan.
20 The descendants of Judah by their clans were:
through Shelah,(AD) the Shelanite clan;
through Perez,(AE) the Perezite clan;
through Zerah, the Zerahite clan.(AF)
21 The descendants of Perez(AG) were:
through Hezron,(AH) the Hezronite clan;
through Hamul, the Hamulite clan.
22 These were the clans of Judah;(AI) those numbered were 76,500.
23 The descendants of Issachar by their clans were:
through Tola,(AJ) the Tolaite clan;
through Puah, the Puite[b] clan;
24 through Jashub,(AK) the Jashubite clan;
through Shimron, the Shimronite clan.
25 These were the clans of Issachar;(AL) those numbered were 64,300.
26 The descendants of Zebulun(AM) by their clans were:
through Sered, the Seredite clan;
through Elon, the Elonite clan;
through Jahleel, the Jahleelite clan.
27 These were the clans of Zebulun;(AN) those numbered were 60,500.
28 The descendants of Joseph(AO) by their clans through Manasseh and Ephraim(AP) were:
29 The descendants of Manasseh:(AQ)
through Makir,(AR) the Makirite clan (Makir was the father of Gilead(AS));
through Gilead, the Gileadite clan.
30 These were the descendants of Gilead:(AT)
through Iezer,(AU) the Iezerite clan;
through Helek, the Helekite clan;
31 through Asriel, the Asrielite clan;
through Shechem, the Shechemite clan;
32 through Shemida, the Shemidaite clan;
through Hepher, the Hepherite clan.
33 (Zelophehad(AV) son of Hepher had no sons;(AW) he had only daughters, whose names were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milkah and Tirzah.)(AX)
34 These were the clans of Manasseh; those numbered were 52,700.(AY)
35 These were the descendants of Ephraim(AZ) by their clans:
through Shuthelah, the Shuthelahite clan;
through Beker, the Bekerite clan;
through Tahan, the Tahanite clan.
36 These were the descendants of Shuthelah:
through Eran, the Eranite clan.
37 These were the clans of Ephraim;(BA) those numbered were 32,500.
These were the descendants of Joseph by their clans.
38 The descendants of Benjamin(BB) by their clans were:
through Bela, the Belaite clan;
through Ashbel, the Ashbelite clan;
through Ahiram, the Ahiramite clan;
39 through Shupham,[c] the Shuphamite clan;
through Hupham, the Huphamite clan.
40 The descendants of Bela through Ard(BC) and Naaman were:
through Ard,[d] the Ardite clan;
through Naaman, the Naamite clan.
41 These were the clans of Benjamin;(BD) those numbered were 45,600.
42 These were the descendants of Dan(BE) by their clans:(BF)
through Shuham,(BG) the Shuhamite clan.
These were the clans of Dan: 43 All of them were Shuhamite clans; and those numbered were 64,400.
44 The descendants of Asher(BH) by their clans were:
through Imnah, the Imnite clan;
through Ishvi, the Ishvite clan;
through Beriah, the Beriite clan;
45 and through the descendants of Beriah:
through Heber, the Heberite clan;
through Malkiel, the Malkielite clan.
46 (Asher had a daughter named Serah.)
47 These were the clans of Asher;(BI) those numbered were 53,400.
48 The descendants of Naphtali(BJ) by their clans were:
through Jahzeel, the Jahzeelite clan;
through Guni, the Gunite clan;
49 through Jezer, the Jezerite clan;
through Shillem, the Shillemite clan.
50 These were the clans of Naphtali;(BK) those numbered were 45,400.(BL)
51 The total number of the men of Israel was 601,730.(BM)
52 The Lord said to Moses, 53 “The land is to be allotted to them as an inheritance based on the number of names.(BN) 54 To a larger group give a larger inheritance, and to a smaller group a smaller one; each is to receive its inheritance according to the number(BO) of those listed.(BP) 55 Be sure that the land is distributed by lot.(BQ) What each group inherits will be according to the names for its ancestral tribe. 56 Each inheritance is to be distributed by lot among the larger and smaller groups.”
57 These were the Levites(BR) who were counted by their clans:
through Gershon, the Gershonite clan;
through Kohath, the Kohathite clan;
through Merari, the Merarite clan.
58 These also were Levite clans:
the Libnite clan,
the Hebronite clan,
the Mahlite clan,
the Mushite clan,
the Korahite clan.
(Kohath was the forefather of Amram;(BS) 59 the name of Amram’s wife was Jochebed,(BT) a descendant of Levi, who was born to the Levites[e] in Egypt. To Amram she bore Aaron, Moses(BU) and their sister(BV) Miriam.(BW) 60 Aaron was the father of Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.(BX) 61 But Nadab and Abihu(BY) died when they made an offering before the Lord with unauthorized fire.)(BZ)
62 All the male Levites a month old or more numbered 23,000.(CA) They were not counted(CB) along with the other Israelites because they received no inheritance(CC) among them.(CD)
63 These are the ones counted(CE) by Moses and Eleazar the priest when they counted the Israelites on the plains of Moab(CF) by the Jordan across from Jericho.(CG) 64 Not one of them was among those counted(CH) by Moses and Aaron(CI) the priest when they counted the Israelites in the Desert of Sinai. 65 For the Lord had told those Israelites they would surely die in the wilderness,(CJ) and not one of them was left except Caleb(CK) son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.(CL)
