Stages in Israel’s Journey
33 Here are the stages in the journey(A) of the Israelites when they came out of Egypt(B) by divisions under the leadership of Moses and Aaron.(C) 2 At the Lord’s command Moses recorded(D) the stages in their journey(E). This is their journey by stages:
3 The Israelites set out(F) from Rameses(G) on the fifteenth day of the first month, the day after the Passover.(H) They marched out defiantly(I) in full view of all the Egyptians, 4 who were burying all their firstborn,(J) whom the Lord had struck down among them; for the Lord had brought judgment(K) on their gods.(L)
5 The Israelites left Rameses and camped at Sukkoth.(M)
6 They left Sukkoth and camped at Etham, on the edge of the desert.(N)
7 They left Etham, turned back to Pi Hahiroth, to the east of Baal Zephon,(O) and camped near Migdol.(P)
8 They left Pi Hahiroth[a](Q) and passed through the sea(R) into the desert, and when they had traveled for three days in the Desert of Etham, they camped at Marah.(S)
9 They left Marah and went to Elim, where there were twelve springs and seventy palm trees, and they camped(T) there.
10 They left Elim(U) and camped by the Red Sea.[b]
11 They left the Red Sea and camped in the Desert of Sin.(V)
12 They left the Desert of Sin and camped at Dophkah.
13 They left Dophkah and camped at Alush.
14 They left Alush and camped at Rephidim, where there was no water for the people to drink.(W)
15 They left Rephidim(X) and camped in the Desert of Sinai.(Y)
16 They left the Desert of Sinai and camped at Kibroth Hattaavah.(Z)
17 They left Kibroth Hattaavah and camped at Hazeroth.(AA)
18 They left Hazeroth and camped at Rithmah.
19 They left Rithmah and camped at Rimmon Perez.
20 They left Rimmon Perez and camped at Libnah.(AB)
21 They left Libnah and camped at Rissah.
22 They left Rissah and camped at Kehelathah.
23 They left Kehelathah and camped at Mount Shepher.
24 They left Mount Shepher and camped at Haradah.
25 They left Haradah and camped at Makheloth.
26 They left Makheloth and camped at Tahath.
27 They left Tahath and camped at Terah.
28 They left Terah and camped at Mithkah.
29 They left Mithkah and camped at Hashmonah.
30 They left Hashmonah and camped at Moseroth.(AC)
31 They left Moseroth and camped at Bene Jaakan.(AD)
32 They left Bene Jaakan and camped at Hor Haggidgad.
33 They left Hor Haggidgad and camped at Jotbathah.(AE)
34 They left Jotbathah and camped at Abronah.
35 They left Abronah and camped at Ezion Geber.(AF)
36 They left Ezion Geber and camped at Kadesh, in the Desert of Zin.(AG)
37 They left Kadesh and camped at Mount Hor,(AH) on the border of Edom.(AI) 38 At the Lord’s command Aaron the priest went up Mount Hor, where he died(AJ) on the first day of the fifth month of the fortieth year(AK) after the Israelites came out of Egypt.(AL) 39 Aaron was a hundred and twenty-three years old when he died on Mount Hor.
40 The Canaanite king(AM) of Arad,(AN) who lived in the Negev(AO) of Canaan, heard that the Israelites were coming.
41 They left Mount Hor and camped at Zalmonah.
42 They left Zalmonah and camped at Punon.
43 They left Punon and camped at Oboth.(AP)
44 They left Oboth and camped at Iye Abarim, on the border of Moab.(AQ)
45 They left Iye Abarim and camped at Dibon Gad.
46 They left Dibon Gad and camped at Almon Diblathaim.
47 They left Almon Diblathaim and camped in the mountains of Abarim,(AR) near Nebo.(AS)
48 They left the mountains of Abarim(AT) and camped on the plains of Moab(AU) by the Jordan(AV) across from Jericho.(AW) 49 There on the plains of Moab they camped along the Jordan from Beth Jeshimoth(AX) to Abel Shittim.(AY)
50 On the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho(AZ) the Lord said to Moses, 51 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you cross the Jordan into Canaan,(BA) 52 drive out all the inhabitants of the land before you. Destroy all their carved images and their cast idols, and demolish all their high places.(BB) 53 Take possession of the land and settle in it, for I have given you the land to possess.(BC) 54 Distribute the land by lot,(BD) according to your clans.(BE) To a larger group give a larger inheritance, and to a smaller group a smaller one.(BF) Whatever falls to them by lot will be theirs. Distribute it according to your ancestral tribes.(BG)
55 “‘But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land, those you allow to remain will become barbs in your eyes and thorns(BH) in your sides. They will give you trouble in the land where you will live. 56 And then I will do to you what I plan to do to them.(BI)’”

Ê-lim là nơi có mười hai suối nước và bảy mươi cây chà là, và họ đóng trại tại đó. 10 Họ nhổ trại rời Ê-lim và đến đóng trại bên bờ Hồng Hải.[a] 11 Họ nhổ trại rời bờ Hồng Hải và đến đóng trại trong Ðồng Hoang Sin. 12 Họ nhổ trại rời Ðồng Hoang Sin và đến đóng trại tại Ðô-pha-ca. 13 Họ nhổ trại rời Ðô-pha-ca và đến đóng trại tại A-lút. 14 Họ nhổ trại rời A-lút và đến đóng trại tại Rê-phi-đim, nơi không có nước cho dân uống. 15 Họ nhổ trại rời Rê-phi-đim và đến đóng trại trong Ðồng Hoang Si-nai. 16 Họ nhổ trại rời Ðồng Hoang Si-nai và đến đóng trại tại Kíp-rốt Hát-ta-a-va. 17 Họ nhổ trại rời Kíp-rốt Hát-ta-a-va và đến đóng trại tại Ha-xê-rốt. 18 Họ nhổ trại rời Ha-xê-rốt và đến đóng trại tại Rít-ma. 19 Họ nhổ trại rời Rít-ma và đến đóng trại tại Rim-môn Pê-rê. 20 Họ nhổ trại rời Rim-môn Pê-rê và đến đóng trại tại Líp-na. 21 Họ nhổ trại rời Líp-na và đến đóng trại tại Rít-sa. 22 Họ nhổ trại rời Rít-sa và đến đóng trại tại Kê-hê-la-tha. 23 Họ nhổ trại rời Kê-hê-la-tha và đến đóng trại tại Núi Sê-phe. 24 Họ nhổ trại rời Núi Sê-phe và đến đóng trại tại Ha-ra-đa. 25 Họ nhổ trại rời Ha-ra-đa và đến đóng trại tại Ma-khê-lót. 26 Họ nhổ trại rời Ma-khê-lót và đến đóng trại tại Ta-hát. 27 Họ nhổ trại rời Ta-hát và đến đóng trại tại Tê-ra. 28 Họ nhổ trại rời Tê-ra và đến đóng trại tại Mít-ca. 29 Họ nhổ trại rời Mít-ca và đến đóng trại tại Hách-mô-na. 30 Họ nhổ trại rời Hách-mô-na và đến đóng trại tại Môi-se-rốt. 31 Họ nhổ trại rời Môi-se-rốt và đến đóng trại tại Bê-nê Gia-a-can. 32 Họ nhổ trại rời Bê-nê Gia-a-can và đến đóng trại tại Họt Ha-ghi-đa. 33 Họ nhổ trại rời Họt Ha-ghi-đa và đến đóng trại tại Giọt-ba-tha. 34 Họ nhổ trại rời Giọt-ba-tha và đến đóng trại tại Áp-rô-na. 35 Họ nhổ trại rời Áp-rô-na và đến đóng trại tại Ê-xi-ôn Ghê-be. 36 Họ nhổ trại rời Ê-xi-ôn Ghê-be và đến đóng trại trong Ðồng Hoang Xin, tức là Ca-đe. 37 Họ nhổ trại rời Ca-đe và đến đóng trại tại Núi Hô-rơ, gần biên giới xứ Ê-đôm.
38 Tư Tế A-rôn vâng theo lịnh Chúa đi lên Núi Hô-rơ và qua đời tại đó, nhằm ngày mồng một tháng năm, năm thứ bốn mươi, sau khi dân I-sơ-ra-ên ra khỏi đất Ai-cập. 39 A-rôn được một trăm hai mươi ba tuổi khi ông qua đời trên Núi Hô-rơ.
40 Lúc ấy Vua A-rát của dân Ca-na-an, đang sống ở miền nam xứ Ca-na-an, đã được báo tin rằng dân I-sơ-ra-ên đang tiến đến.
41 Họ nhổ trại rời Núi Hô-rơ và đến đóng trại tại Xanh-mô-na. 42 Họ nhổ trại rời Xanh-mô-na và đến đóng trại tại Pu-nôn. 43 Họ nhổ trại rời Pu-nôn và đến đóng trại tại Ô-bốt. 44 Họ nhổ trại rời Ô-bốt và đến đóng trại tại I-giê A-ba-rim, sát biên thùy của Mô-áp. 45 Họ nhổ trại rời I-gim và đến đóng trại tại Ði-bôn Gát. 46 Họ nhổ trại rời Ði-bôn Gát và đến đóng trại tại Anh-môn Ði-la-tha-im. 47 Họ nhổ trại rời Anh-môn Ði-la-tha-im và đến đóng trại trên các rặng núi ở A-ba-rim, đối ngang Nê-bô. 48 Họ nhổ trại rời các rặng núi ở A-ba-rim và đến đóng trại trong Ðồng Bằng Mô-áp, bên bờ Sông Giô-đanh, đối ngang Giê-ri-cô. 49 Họ đóng trại dọc theo bờ Sông Giô-đanh từ Bết Giê-si-mốt cho đến A-bên Si-tim trong Ðồng Bằng Mô-áp.
Cách Ðối Xử với Dân Ca-na-an
50 Chúa phán với Môi-se trong Ðồng Bằng Mô-áp, bên bờ Sông Giô-đanh, đối ngang Giê-ri-cô rằng, 51 “Hãy nói với dân I-sơ-ra-ên và bảo họ: Khi các ngươi đi qua Sông Giô-đanh để vào trong đất Ca-na-an, 52 các ngươi phải đuổi các dân cư trong xứ đi khỏi mặt các ngươi, các ngươi phải phá hủy tất cả hình tượng đã chạm khắc vào đá của chúng, phá huỷ tất cả tượng chúng đúc để thờ, phá hủy tất cả những đền miếu chúng đã xây cất trên các nơi cao để cúng tế. 53 Các ngươi phải chiếm lấy xứ và định cư trong đó, vì Ta đã ban xứ đó cho các ngươi để làm chủ. 54 Các ngươi sẽ bốc thăm để phân chia xứ đó theo từng dòng họ. Dòng họ nào đông người, các ngươi phải chia phần sản nghiệp lớn hơn; dòng họ nào ít người, các ngươi sẽ chia phần sản nghiệp nhỏ hơn. 33 These are the journeys of the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.
2 And Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of the Lord: and these are their journeys according to their goings out.
3 And they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the morrow after the passover the children of Israel went out with an high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.
4 For the Egyptians buried all their firstborn, which the Lord had smitten among them: upon their gods also the Lord executed judgments.
5 And the children of Israel removed from Rameses, and pitched in Succoth.
6 And they departed from Succoth, and pitched in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.
7 And they removed from Etham, and turned again unto Pihahiroth, which is before Baalzephon: and they pitched before Migdol.
8 And they departed from before Pihahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days'journey in the wilderness of Etham, and pitched in Marah.
9 And they removed from Marah, and came unto Elim: and in Elim were twelve fountains of water, and threescore and ten palm trees; and they pitched there.
10 And they removed from Elim, and encamped by the Red sea.
11 And they removed from the Red sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.
12 And they took their journey out of the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.
13 And they departed from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush.
14 And they removed from Alush, and encamped at Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink.
15 And they departed from Rephidim, and pitched in the wilderness of Sinai.
16 And they removed from the desert of Sinai, and pitched at Kibrothhattaavah.
17 And they departed from Kibrothhattaavah, and encamped at Hazeroth.
18 And they departed from Hazeroth, and pitched in Rithmah.
19 And they departed from Rithmah, and pitched at Rimmonparez.
20 And they departed from Rimmonparez, and pitched in Libnah.
21 And they removed from Libnah, and pitched at Rissah.
22 And they journeyed from Rissah, and pitched in Kehelathah.
23 And they went from Kehelathah, and pitched in mount Shapher.
24 And they removed from mount Shapher, and encamped in Haradah.
25 And they removed from Haradah, and pitched in Makheloth.
26 And they removed from Makheloth, and encamped at Tahath.
27 And they departed from Tahath, and pitched at Tarah.
28 And they removed from Tarah, and pitched in Mithcah.
29 And they went from Mithcah, and pitched in Hashmonah.
30 And they departed from Hashmonah, and encamped at Moseroth.
31 And they departed from Moseroth, and pitched in Benejaakan.
32 And they removed from Benejaakan, and encamped at Horhagidgad.
33 And they went from Horhagidgad, and pitched in Jotbathah.
34 And they removed from Jotbathah, and encamped at Ebronah.
35 And they departed from Ebronah, and encamped at Eziongaber.
36 And they removed from Eziongaber, and pitched in the wilderness of Zin, which is Kadesh.
37 And they removed from Kadesh, and pitched in mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.
38 And Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the Lord, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth month.
39 And Aaron was an hundred and twenty and three years old when he died in mount Hor.
40 And king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.
41 And they departed from mount Hor, and pitched in Zalmonah.
42 And they departed from Zalmonah, and pitched in Punon.
43 And they departed from Punon, and pitched in Oboth.
44 And they departed from Oboth, and pitched in Ijeabarim, in the border of Moab.
45 And they departed from Iim, and pitched in Dibongad.
46 And they removed from Dibongad, and encamped in Almondiblathaim.
47 And they removed from Almondiblathaim, and pitched in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.
48 And they departed from the mountains of Abarim, and pitched in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.
49 And they pitched by Jordan, from Bethjesimoth even unto Abelshittim in the plains of Moab.
50 And the Lord spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,
51 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan;
52 Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places:
53 And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it.
54 And ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the less inheritance: every man's inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit.
55 But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.
56 Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.
