²⁹ And when all the congregation saw that Aaron had perished, ^(A)all the house of Israel wept for Aaron thirty days.

⁸ And the people of Israel ^(A)wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days. Then the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended.

² Devout men buried Stephen and made great lamentation over him.

²⁴ So his servants took him out of the chariot and carried him in his second chariot and brought him to Jerusalem. And he died and was buried in the tombs of his fathers. ^(A)All Judah and Jerusalem mourned for Josiah. ^25 (B)Jeremiah also uttered a lament for Josiah; and all ^(C)the singing men and singing women have spoken of Josiah in their laments to this day. They made these a rule in Israel; behold, they are written in the Laments.

¹⁰ God called the dry land Earth,^[a] and the waters that were gathered together he called Seas. And God saw that it was good.
