⁴⁴These are the ones who were numbered, whom Moses and Aaron counted, with the leaders of Israel, twelve men, each of whom was of his father’s household. ⁴⁵So all the numbered men of the sons of Israel by their fathers’ households, from twenty years old and upward, whoever was able to go to war in Israel, ⁴⁶all the numbered men were ^(A)603,550.

⁴⁴These were the men counted by Moses and Aaron^(A) and the twelve leaders of Israel, each one representing his family. ⁴⁵All the Israelites twenty years old or more^(B) who were able to serve in Israel’s army were counted according to their families.^(C) ⁴⁶The total number was 603,550.^(D)
