Numbers 1:42-44

New International Version

⁴²From the descendants of Naphtali:^(A)

All the men twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were listed by name, according to the records of their clans and families. ⁴³The number from the tribe of Naphtali^(B) was 53,400.^(C)

⁴⁴These were the men counted by Moses and Aaron^(D) and the twelve leaders of Israel, each one representing his family.

⁴²Of the people of Naphtali, their generations, by their clans, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and upward, every man able to go to war: ⁴³those listed of the tribe of Naphtali were ^(A)53,400.

⁴⁴^(B)These are those who were listed, whom Moses and Aaron listed with the help of the chiefs of Israel, twelve men, each representing his fathers' house.

⁴⁴^(A)These are the ones who were numbered, whom Moses and Aaron numbered, with the leaders of Israel, twelve men, each one representing his father’s house.
