¹⁰ So you shall bring the Levites before the Lord, and the children of Israel ^(A)shall lay their hands on the Levites;

¹⁸ And the Lord said to Moses: “Take Joshua the son of Nun with you, a man ^(A)in whom is the Spirit, and ^(B)lay your hand on him;

⁹ Now Joshua the son of Nun was full of the ^(A)spirit of wisdom, for ^(B)Moses had laid his hands on him; so the children of Israel heeded him, and did as the Lord had commanded Moses.

²³ and begged Him earnestly, saying, “My little daughter lies at the point of death. Come and ^(A)lay Your hands on her, that she may be healed, and she will live.”

¹⁷ Then ^(A)they laid hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.
