12 That person will be safe from anyone from the dead man’s family who wants to punish the killer until that person is judged in court. 13 There will be six cities of safety. 14 Three of them will be east of the Jordan River and three of them will be in the land of Canaan, west of the Jordan River.

12 They will be places of refuge from the avenger,(A) so that anyone accused of murder(B) may not die before they stand trial before the assembly.(C) 13 These six towns you give will be your cities of refuge.(D) 14 Give three on this side of the Jordan and three in Canaan as cities of refuge.
