⁶ “^(A)Bring the tribe of Levi near and set them before Aaron the priest, that they may serve him.

⁹ You shall thus ^(A)give the Levites to Aaron and to his sons; they are wholly given to him from among the sons of Israel.

^8 (A)At that time the Lord set apart the tribe of Levi to carry the ark of the covenant of the Lord, to stand before the Lord ^(B)to serve Him and to bless in His name until this day.
