¹⁸ Edom will become a possession,
    Seir a possession of its enemies,
    while Israel does valiantly.^(A)

¹² in order that they may possess the remnant of Edom
    and all the nations who are called by my name,
    says the Lord who does this.^(A)

²⁹ Let peoples serve you
    and nations bow down to you.
Be lord over your brothers,
    and may your mother’s sons bow down to you.
Cursed be everyone who curses you,
    and blessed be everyone who blesses you!”^(A)

63 “Who is this coming from Edom,
    from Bozrah in garments stained crimson?
Who is this so splendidly robed,
    marching in his great might?”

⁸ Moab is my washbasin;
    on Edom I hurl my shoe;
    over Philistia I shout in triumph.”^(A)

¹ O God, you have rejected us, broken our defenses;
    you have been angry; now restore us!^(A)
