¹⁶இவர்கள் அனைவரும் தங்களுடைய கோத்திரங்களுக்கு தலைவர்களாக தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டனர். ¹⁷மோசேயும் ஆரோனும் இவர்களைத் தலைவர்களாக ஏற்றுக்கொண்டனர்.

Numbers 1:16-17

New International Version

¹⁶These were the men appointed from the community, the leaders^(A) of their ancestral tribes.^(B) They were the heads of the clans of Israel.^(C)

¹⁷Moses and Aaron took these men whose names had been specified,

¹⁶These were the renowned of the congregation, princes of the tribes of their fathers, heads of thousands in Israel.

¹⁷And Moses and Aaron took these men which are expressed by their names:
