53 (A)But the Levites shall camp around the tabernacle of the testimony, so that there will be (B)no divine wrath against the congregation of the sons of Israel. (C)So the Levites shall be responsible for service to the tabernacle of the testimony.” 54 And the sons of Israel did so; in accordance with all that the Lord had commanded Moses, so they did.

53 The Levites, however, are to set up their tents around the tabernacle(A) of the covenant law so that my wrath will not fall(B) on the Israelite community. The Levites are to be responsible for the care of the tabernacle of the covenant law.(C)”
54 The Israelites did all this just as the Lord commanded Moses.
