21 Ang kalalakihan ng Israel ay nagtipun-tipon sa Mizpa at nangako kay Yahweh. Ang sabi nila, “Hindi namin pahihintulutan ang aming mga anak na babae na mapangasawa ng mga Benjaminita.”

Pagkaraan niyon, pumunta sila sa Bethel, at malungkot na humarap kay Yahweh. Hanggang gabi silang nakaupo roon, at buong kapaitang nanangis.
