Matthew 9:1-8

9 And Jesus went up into a boat, and passed over the water, and came into his city.
2 And lo! they brought to him a man sick in palsy, lying in a bed. And Jesus saw the faith of them, and said to the man sick in palsy, Son, have thou trust; thy sins be forgiven to thee [Forsooth Jesus, seeing the faith of them, said to the man sick in palsy, Son, have trust; thy sins be forgiven to thee].
3 And lo! some of the scribes said within themselves, This blasphemeth.
4 And when Jesus had seen their thoughts, he said, Whereto think ye evil things in your hearts?
5 What is lighter to say, Thy sins be forgiven to thee, either to say [or to say], Rise thou, and walk?
6 But that ye know that man's Son hath power to forgive sins in earth, then he said to the sick man in palsy [then he said to the man sick in palsy], Rise up; take thy bed, and go into thine house.
7 And he rose, and went into his house.
8 And the people seeing dreaded [Soothly the companies seeing dreaded], and glorified God, that gave such power to men.

Jesus heals the paralytic, calls Matthew from receipt of custom, answers for his disciples, heals the woman with the issue of blood, helps Jairas’ daughter, gives two blind men their sight, and by driving out a devil makes a dumb man to speak.
9 Then Jesus entered into a boat, and passed over and went into his own city. 2 And lo, they brought to him a paralyzed man lying in his bed. And when Jesus saw their faith he said to the paralytic, Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you. 3 And certain of the scribes said in themselves, This man blasphemes.
4 When Jesus saw their thoughts, he said, Why do you think evil in your hearts? 5 Which is easier to say: Your sins are forgiven you, or to say, Arise and walk? 6 But so that you may know that the Son of man has power to forgive sins in earth–
Then he said to the paralytic, Arise, take up your bed, and go home to your house. 7 And the man arose and departed to his own house. 8 And when the people saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God who had given such power to men.

1 Then he [a]entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his [b]own city.
2 And (A)lo, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy laid on a bed. And Jesus [c]seeing their faith, said to the sick of the palsy, Son be of good comfort: thy sins are forgiven thee.
3 And behold, certain of the Scribes said with themselves, This man [d]blasphemeth.
4 But when Jesus saw their thoughts, he said, Wherefore think ye evil things in your hearts?
5 For whether is it easier to say, Thy sins are forgiven thee, or to say, Arise, and walk?
6 And that ye may know that the Son of man hath authority in earth to forgive sins (then said he unto the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go to thine house.
7 And he arose, and departed to his own house.
8 So when the multitude saw it, they marveled, and glorified God, which had given such authority to men.
