5 כשאתם מתפללים, אל תנהגו כמו הצבועים, המתפללים בפינות רחוב ובבית-הכנסת כדי שכולם יראו אותם. אני אומר לכם: להם המגיע להם. 6 כשאתם מתפללים, היכנסו לחדר לבד, נעלו את הדלת והתפללו בסתר אל אביכם. ואז אביכם שבשמים, הרואה את הנעשה במסתרים, ייתן לכם שכר בגלוי.
'אבינו שבשמים, יתקדש שמך.
10 תבוא מלכותך,
שרצונך ייעשה בארץ כמו בשמים.
11 אנו גם מבקשים שתספק לנו מדי יום את צורכנו.
12 אנא סלח לנו על חטאינו, כשם שאנו סולחים לאלה שחטאו נגדנו.
13 עזור לנו לעמוד נגד פיתויים וניסיונות,
והצל אותנו מכל רע
(כי שלך המלכות, הכוח והתפארת לעולמי עולמים. אמן).
14 אביכם שבשמים יסלח לכם אם תסלחו גם אתם לאלה שחוטאים נגדכם. 15 אם לא תהיו מוכנים לסלוח להם, לא יסלח ה' גם לכם על חטאיכם.

5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

6 συ δε οταν προσευχη εισελθε εις το ταμιειον σου και κλεισας την θυραν σου προσευξαι τω πατρι σου τω εν τω κρυπτω και ο πατηρ σου ο βλεπων εν τω κρυπτω αποδωσει σοι εν τω φανερω
7 προσευχομενοι δε μη βαττολογησητε ωσπερ οι εθνικοι δοκουσιν γαρ οτι εν τη πολυλογια αυτων εισακουσθησονται

5 Y cuando oréis, no seáis como los hipócritas; porque a ellos les gusta ponerse en pie y orar en las sinagogas y en las esquinas de las calles(A), para ser vistos por los hombres[a](B). En verdad os digo que ya han recibido su recompensa(C). 6 Pero tú, cuando ores, entra en tu aposento, y cuando hayas cerrado la puerta(D), ora a tu Padre que está en secreto, y tu Padre, que ve en lo secreto, te recompensará(E). 7 Y al orar, no uséis repeticiones sin sentido, como los gentiles, porque ellos se imaginan que serán oídos por su palabrería(F). 8 Por tanto, no os hagáis semejantes a ellos; porque vuestro Padre sabe lo que necesitáis antes que vosotros le pidáis(G).
El Padre nuestro
9 (H)Vosotros, pues, orad de esta manera:
«Padre nuestro que estás en los cielos,
santificado sea tu nombre.
10 Venga tu reino(I).
Hágase tu voluntad(J),
así en la tierra como en el cielo.
11 Danos hoy el pan nuestro de cada día[b](K).
12 Y perdónanos nuestras deudas[c], como también nosotros hemos perdonado a nuestros deudores(L).
13 Y no nos metas en tentación, mas líbranos del mal[d](M). Porque tuyo es el reino y el poder y la gloria para siempre jamás. Amén[e]».
14 Porque si perdonáis a los hombres sus transgresiones, también vuestro Padre celestial os perdonará a vosotros(N). 15 Pero si no perdonáis a los hombres, tampoco vuestro Padre perdonará vuestras transgresiones(O).
