¹⁷ and behold, there was a voice out of the heavens saying, “^(A)This is ^[a]My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased.”

³ And ^(A)the tempter came and said to Him, “If You are the ^(B)Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”

⁶ and *said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down; for it is written,

and

²⁹ And behold, they cried out, saying, “^[a](A)What do we have to do with You, Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the ^[b]time?”

³³ And those who were in the boat worshiped Him, saying, “You are truly ^(A)God’s Son!”

¹⁶ And Simon Peter answered and said, “You are ^[a](A)the Christ, ^(B)the Son of ^(C)the living God.”

⁵ While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and behold, ^(A)a voice out of the cloud said, “^(B)This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased; listen to Him!”

⁶³ But ^(A)Jesus kept silent. ^(B)And the high priest said to Him, “^(C)I put You under oath by ^(D)the living God, that You tell us whether You are the ^[a]Christ, ^(E)the Son of God.”

^54 (A)Now the centurion, and those who were with him ^(B)keeping guard over Jesus, when they saw ^(C)the earthquake and the things that were happening, became very frightened and said, “Truly this was ^(D)God’s Son!”
